The event was moved to the Marriott Hotel because of the anticipated attendance (and heat!) and in addition to Dr. Tanji, we also had Dr. Melitta Moore, the current athletic team physician for UC Davis and Dr. Sarah Preiss-Farzanegan, who after many years practicing at Kaiser's Sports Medicine Group, is opening up her own practice and is also involved with Dr. Tanji of MindGame, Inc. (formally the Sacramento Valley Concussion Care Consortium). We had a panel of San Juan players speaking at the event who had experienced concussion and discussed the events surrounding their injuries as well as their decisions to wear Storelli Protective Headgear on the pitch.

The event was coordinated by Jeff Rucker, San Juan Board Member. Thank you to all the attended and making this a successful event and a start to a great program from San Juan Soccer Club!
On behalf of Mindgame, thank you for including us in your event! The attendance was impressive and the mood in the room was very positive. We all were impressed by the player panel both in the composure and presentation of the athletes and the message they were able to deliver to their teammates and colleagues. And of course Dr Tanji is a very effective speaker!
