I am very excited and honored to announce my verbal commitment to play D1 soccer at San Diego State University! I am really looking forward to continuing being a student-athlete at such an amazing and beautiful campus. SDSU has been a dream school for me for a very long time, and once I was on the campus, I knew it was the place I would have a bright future. It reminds me of my busy household -- fun, exciting, and alive! I am eager to be part of the SDSU soccer program led by Head Coach Mike Friesen. He is an amazing coach and I look forward to continuing my soccer development with him and his staff, as well as being part of the players that make up his team.
I am grateful for San Juan Soccer Club and Coaches Bernardo Silva, Zeca Neto, and Erin Sharpe who have given me (and still do) never-ending encouragement to become a better player, strive for continued success both on and off the field and have guided me during this whole recruiting process. I am also very thankful for Nate Gargiulo who has helped me so much improving my foot skills throughout the years. My teammates have also helped me succeed because they always force me to be the best I can be. They trust and have faith in me which allows me to not only work harder but to push myself to always improve. They are huge supporters on and off the field and they will always be part of my “family” in my heart.
My family is everything to me. My three older brothers -- Luke, Cal, and Joe -- have and will always be there to keep making me tough, but they also will always put a huge smile on my face. My parents -- Michelle and Wade -- have been a huge part of my success because they never deny playing soccer with me in my backyard or at the park. I can’t begin to thank my Mom and Dad enough for their incredible positive support and faith in me, their tireless involvement, and making sacrifices to allow me to do what I love the most. Without their love, smiles, and support I wouldn’t be where I am today! I can. I will. I do!
I can’t wait to be part of the SDSU soccer family and know it will be an amazing experience! Go Aztecs!
