I am very excited and blessed to announce my verbal commitment to the University of Arizona! I am beyond grateful and thankful that I have been given such an amazing opportunity to further my academic and athletic career. The first time that I walked onto the campus I immediately loved it and I felt that this was somewhere I could see myself in 4 years. The thing that really made my decision was clear was the coaching staff, they are all such wonderful people. It wasn't until after I sat down and spoke with them it was clear that I really wanted to go to Arizona and I wouldn't regret my decision at all. Without a doubt, the whole committing process was a stressful one but I was blessed enough to be around people who supported me in every aspect of it.
First, I would like to take the time and thank all my coaches that have been pushing me to become better. It wasn’t until I came to San Juan that I was pushed to unlock all my potential as a player and as a person. I would like to thank Curtis who was my U13 (EGSL) and U14 (my first year in the ECNL) coach. He without a doubt gave me the foundation and the tools of being the player I am today. Next, I would like to thank Zeca, who was never actually my coach but definitely a coach who helps me improve my game endlessly. Last I would like to thank Erin. She is my current Ecnl coach and without her, I know that I would have not been given such a great opportunity. She is an amazing coach and person who pushes me every day and I can’t wait to see what she teaches me in the years to come.
Last but definitely not least a huge shoutout to my friends and most importantly my family. My teammates are all amazing girls who helped see what was best for me and supported my decision. I would like to thank my lifelong friends outside of soccer who tried their best to understand the committing process and helped the best they can! Next, I would like to thank my mom and dad for the unconditional love and support provided throughout the years of my growth as a person and soccer player!!
Thank you and I can’t wait to be a WILDCAT!! Bear down
