I am thankful for the opportunities I have been given. San Juan has been such a fantastic and supporting club that has taught me how to be the player I am today. I was blessed to have outstanding coaches, specifically Ronald Preble, and Matthew McDougall. These two coaches have taught me so much, from Coach Ron teaching me to have confidence in myself and how to play the beautiful game, to Coach McDougall who taught me what it takes to play like a man, and the expectations that colleges have. They have guided me through such a variety of situations it is hard to put into words, all I can say is that I appreciate them and what they have done for me at the San Juan Program.
My family has always been so supportive of my pursuance of soccer, even with how demanding the sport is. Planes, cars, hotels, tournaments, games, my family has been there for me. So I say thank you Nancy for being my #1 fan pushing me from behind to be a better player, thank you Michael for being my rock, and thank you to my brothers Daniel and Kevin for playing with me over the years and teaching me everything you knew about the game to become the player I am today.
I am proud to be a CSU Monterey Bay Otter, where I look forward to being Coached by their fantastic staff.
Thank You San Juan Soccer Club.
Sincerely, Anthony Manfred
