I am incredibly excited to announce that I am verbally committed to play D1 soccer at the University of Evansville! I am so thankful for this opportunity to experience a whole new level of soccer in the Midwest. During my college search, I had no idea what I wanted in my college experience. Did I want a big school or small school? California or out of state? Was I going for division 1, 2, or 3? It was a conflicting decision but now that I have chosen my future college I am sure that it is going to be an amazing experience.
There are so many people that I would like to thank, starting with every coach I have ever had for the past 13 years. Thank you so much for helping me fall in love with the game of soccer and pushing me to become the player I am today. Also, I would like to thank my family. Thank you to my siblings for always being there, thank you to my mom for always driving me to practices and games to cheer me on, and thank you to my dad, for always supporting me and pushing me every day to help me become a better soccer player. And last but not least, thank you to my teammates, some of which I have been playing soccer with since u10’s. You guys motivate me every day, whether it’s knocking me down in practice, or picking me up in games, thank you.
Once again I am excited to see what lies ahead in the future as I am getting ready to enter the next chapter of soccer and life at the U of E, thank you!
