I am excited to announce my commitment to San Diego Christian College. I am happy to be continuing my soccer career at a small four-year private school, where I can also focus on my education. My mom and I have always known that I have needed a small school with small classes where I can focus and communicate with my teachers, which is what will make SDCC a great fit for me. I have known I wanted to live in San Diego since I was very young, and now I can call it my home for the next four years. I am blessed to say that after this season ends, I will not have to say goodbye to the game that has been a part of my life since I could walk. Which is why I was eager to accept the offer to continue playing soccer in Southern California at San Diego Christian College.
I would like to thank my San Juan coaches, Coach Tony Perez and Kyle Perez for pushing me to be a better player and helping me to become a leader. I would really love to thank my first competitive Coach, Katie Ulan. Not only did she push me to be the best I can and coached me to play at a competitive level but she helped me love the game. Lastly, I would love to thank my Mom because she has always held me to high standards and told me to never give up. Also, to always play bigger than my size. I would not be the person or player I am today without my Mom.
I am blessed to be where I am today thanks to the opportunity that soccer has given me. I am looking forward to my next four years at San Diego Christian College.
