The San Juan Soccer Club’s Division 1 program is one of the most outstanding youth soccer programs in the far west region of the United States. The Division 1 program is the backbone of our club. Our Division 1 program began with the club’s formation in 1978 and is designed for players U8-U20. It is structured to foster a love and passion for the game of soccer within a competitive framework based on technical, tactical, physical, and mental development.
The program involves weekly practices, league games, as well as local and national tournaments with well credentialed professional coaches who not only understand the game, but also understand the emotional development of the children at any given age. Participating in Division 1 leagues and tournaments means competitive players, on competitive teams, competing at a higher level.
Top players from throughout the Sacramento metro area participate in San Juan Soccer Club’s Division 1 program to learn from the best coaches in the area. We stay up to date on all the current information from across the world on player development, while harnessing our club’s tradition of over 30 years of youth soccer experience to keep our level of play consistent and sound. Our Division 1 teams often place in the top 3 in state, regional, and national competitions.
Because San Juan Soccer has been serving the youth of the Sacramento metro area for over 30 years, we have accumulated a wealth of relevant contacts throughout the country. This assists outstanding players from our club in reaching out and getting identified at collegiate levels and beyond. We have an extensive history of sending our players to colleges all over the United States.

We not only want to teach the youth of Sacramento soccer, we want to insure that the Sacramento community is rich with children who know how to face life with the skills they need to succeed.
