On January
13, 2011, 53 extraordinary young men and women
were recognized by the San Juan Soccer Club for their academic and humanitarian
efforts. This is a considerable task considering the rigors and demands
of playing a competitive sport. In addition to training two or more days
a week, competing in games and tournaments over weekends and traveling, these
individuals remained focused on their grades and giving back to their
communities. As a Club, we are proud to recognize and encourage the
activities of these individuals.
