I am thrilled to announce that I have committed to play soccer for the Fall 2017 class at Cal Poly – San Luis Obispo. Playing for former US Men’s soccer coach Steve Sampson is a honor that I am looking forward to.
I played for San Juan Soccer Club for my U14-U17 years and I enjoyed every minute of my experience. It has been my dream to play soccer in college at the D1 level and I am proud to have a chance to do that. There are several people that I want to thank and who have helped make my dream come true. First I would like to thank Iain Fraser for believing in me and helping develop me as a player and as a person. Derek Evans also pushed me to succeed by placing high expectations on me. Other coaches who have helped along the way are Matt Winans, Casey Bliss, and Michael Linenberg. All of my teammates along the way have been a great brotherhood and also pushed me to be my best.
Finally I want to thank all of my family including my parents, Pete and Monique Chilcutt, and my sister Isabella, for all the support over the years. I could not have succeeded without them. As you can see, my journey was filled with support and love and I am excited to tackle the next challenge in my journey. GO MUSTANGS!
